Someone's In the Kitchen

Welcome y’all. I am an old fashioned southern lady and my cooking remains true to the wonderful food found here in the deep south. My recipes and way of cooking will bring back memories of days gone by, but I love to experiment and I am constantly trying new recipes of my own and those shared with me. My kitchen comes alive very early in the morning, usually before the sun is up and is the last room of the house where the lights go out at night. The aroma of bread baking fills the air, coffee is always ready to be served, ovens are piping hot, recipes are scattered about, and my mind is occupied with thoughts of  our next meal. My kitchen is the place where everyone gathers and is the heart of our home. I have always considered my kitchen as the heart of my home and my grandmother’s bible as its soul.
